Re-Hirement Job Fair & Job Seeker Seminars

Admission for the Job Fair and Re-Hirement seminars is $2 or two non-perishable canned goods. Admission includes free travel log notebook sponsored by GBMC. The Job Fair is sponsored by the Baltimore County Department of Aging, the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce, the Baltimore County Office of Workforce Development, and the Community College of Baltimore County. Proceeds are to benefit Senior Citizens of Baltimore County.

Job Fair

The Job Fair advertises and markets full and part-time positions focused in the field of health care and various employment fields to Baby Boomers and Mature Adults, 50 years and older. The Job Fair will focus on employer recruitment from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. Meet and schedule a one-on-one interview with counselors from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Re-Hirement Seminars

The Re-Hirement seminars will include re-tooling and re-training for today's job market. The seminars will be running from noon to 3 p.m. in the Job Fair area of the Promenade Palace (formerly known as the Cow Palace).

Job Fair Vendors

For Job Fair vendors, the registration fee is a low $115. The registration form may be mailed or faxed to Baltimore County Department of Aging Senior Employment Office 611 Central Avenue, Room 319 Towson Maryland 21204 410-337-5065.

Registration includes:

  • One six-foot table
  • Publicity marketing
  • Company signage

No electrical connections will be available, morning coffee and refreshments will be provided. Lunch will not be provided but will be available for purchase in the Promenade Palace (formerly Cow Palace). Accommodations will be on a first-paid, first-served basis with priority to employers with permanent job openings in the field of health care and/or health care related services. An employer is considered an entity that provides a W-2 or 1099 to a worker. After September 30, 2010 there will be a late registration fee. Please contact 410-887-4006 for further information.
